You're So Vain

The funniest thing happened the other day. We were at our friends house that they just had built and decorated and in their bedroom is all of this shabby chic-esque furniture. My husband was complimenting how much he liked it.... he is so random.

So it got me thinking that I may want to do a Shabby Chic theme in ours. With Shabby Chic at Target prices, maybe I can. First I want a vanity. I want to look at myself in 3 mirrors and have a special place just for me. It's only $89.99!

Doggone Tunes

Does your canine companion detest traveling in the car? My first dog would get car sick quite often and I thought that it might be stress-related. Eventually she grew out of it, but not after rolls and rolls and rolls of paper towels were used to clean up her messes. I have two dogs now and we have yet to take them on a trip longer than 45 minutes but if we ever did it might help to try the Doggone Songs: Traveling Tunes for You and Your Pet. This 46 minute compilation of calming melodies utilizes the Schoenberger effect, a musical methodology shown to help animals unwind. The CD is said to help diminish the anxiety of being away from home. It is also designed to be the ideal background music to boost their focus during training sessions. This musical anthology is for all breeds, sizes and personalities. Visit Target.com to pick up a copy for yourself and for your canine loved ones.

Cone or Dish?

Of course I’ll eat my ice cream in a paper cup, cone, Styrofoam bowl, etc … But putting my scoop(s) in the BIA Cordon Bleu Ice Cream Cone Sorbet Cups would be so charming. This attractive set of 4 matching cups and saucers come in four different colors: orange, lavender, mint, and yellow. They are microwavable, oven and dishwasher safe. I can see this set entertaining both adults and children. Visit Target.com to order your set … ice cream not included.

This is what...

A $2300.00 Rug looks like.

Now of course this is handmade and worth every penny but I am just not sure I can ever think about spending that much money on a rug. Sorry, BUT I think of it like taking $2300 in cash and taping it to the floor and walking on it, sort of unrealistic right?

Well if you have $2300 you can have this beautiful rug. You better no spill anything on it.

NOTE ( and this is just heresay from a reader not a confirmed story although I stand by fair treatment for women and their choice to use birth control- my blog, my opinion..):

We get emails from STT's every day, this morning we got a disturbing note that a Target pharmacy in Fenton, MO on September 30th denied birth controll pill dispensement to a shopper. I seriously hope that this is a mistake. Bible belt or not, I would punch out a pharmacist if they said "take your business elsewhere" to me.

Here is a link sent to us to ask Target to "Fill our Pills"!

I enjoying traveling and now that I have a family I need to make sure that not only do I pack my motion sickness pills, that I bring something to keep my child comfortable during the trip. Of course my buddy Target can help with that. Target features these adorable Children’s Travel Set in varying animal designs. What a Spread

What do you get for the girl that has everything? More of everything of course. Check out this toolbox from Dinabean French Lemonade at the Red Hot Shop. This toolbox has a bit of everything a girl on her own could need. There is a 6 bit screwdriver, picture hooks, flashlight, rubber-grip hammer, tape measure, and of course the essentials every young woman needs. Naturally we're referring to the bar of Toblerone chocolate, 2 bottles of sparkling water, asiago cheese crackers, and the current issue of “Dwell” magazine. What a fabulous gift for someone special or yourself for that matter! Not surprisingly this all-in-one toolbox can be found at the Red Hot Shop from Target.com.
