Get Your Drink on For Less
Department:
We all know about the ever-expanding beer/wine/liquor section at Target (all Targets? not sure...). But did you know that if you purchase a mere four -- yes four -- bottles of wine, you get a 10% discount? Many grocery and liquor stores give you discounts, but you generally have to buy anywhere from six bottles to an entire case. Leave it to Target to lead the way...
Look for the red cardboard four-bottle wine carrier in your store's wine section, then pull the coupon off to use when you check out.
Cheers!!
p.s. I couldn't find a picture of the carrier anywhere... or anything on the site about wine available, etc. so I apologize for the lack of links.

I guarantee not all Targets have these. In Pennsylvania, wine & liquor are sold in "state stores" and beer may only be sold by beer distributors (commonly known as "beer stores" or "beer & pop" stores).

Bummer for Pennsylvania people! It's so nice to be at Target getting whatever you need from there and remember that you don't have a bottle of wine for dinner or to take to that event and voila!! Take your pick!... So convenient!

Yeah, Target booze sales will be dictated by state laws. Target won't be allowed to sell liquor or wine in Tennessee (although they might be able to sell beer -- not sure on that one but I've never actually seen it).

*sigh* no liquor sales in NY State in stores such as Target. So so sad.

I just found wine in Target while on Vacation in Dallas Texas and I was so excited and happy about it that I wanted to immediately move my family there. We live in Utah. No explanation needed!

OMG if Target in NY had booze I would be there even more often than I am already!

Thanks for the tip on the 10% discount. Our Targets in Michigan carry a great variety and discount the slow movers on a regular basis. Great way to sample brands and types! On the fresh flower thing - go to your local farmers market once a week - by locally from people growing in and around your community!
