Sunday just isn't Sunday without the Target ad

Department: What the?

Was anyone else missing the Target ad out of their Sunday paper this morning? I don't know if it was a nationwide thing, but here in Chicagoland, the only way to access the weekly ad flier is to visit Target.com. That just doesn't seem right? I spend enough time at my computer blogging working, I do not like the idea of having to go online to find out what I need to buy this week... Also, I found myself Jonesing for a Target fix today when they were closed on Easter Sunday. Not that I needed anything, but to know it wasn't even a possibility... I think I experienced the beginning stages of withdrawal.

Anyone else feeling my pain? (Or am I the only nutjob?)

  • I noticed this too and I live on the other side of the country. I was sitting down thumbing through the stack of paper and couldn't find the target ad either. I look forward to it so I was bummed too :(

  • Nope, you're not the only one. All Target stores nationwide were closed on Easter Sunday, and thus they didn't print a Weekly ad. They also announced there would be no weekly ad in this Sunday's paper on all their store receipts the week prior.

  • Hilarious! Easter is one of my hubby's favorite days cause the store is closed and he doesn't have to be at work at 4:00 a.m. (He sets the new ads on Sundays). It's the one day a year actually got to sleep in together:)(except for when we're on vacation)

  • I wanted to cry when I got to target on Sunday and saw that they were closed...how dare they :( I totally spaced everything I have been out of town in Ohio for four weeks so my house needede a trip to Target..but alas...I have to wait till I am back from my second trip to Ohio is...

  • Target does have stuff on sale this week. There's a 60+ page ad for this week online only at Target.com.

    They should also have a printed version of the online only ad hanging at the front of the store where they usually post the ad.
