Welcome to my Penthouse

Department: HOME

If you remember the movie Ferris Bueller you will remember that his side kick Cameron lived in a house that was more like a museum. This is what the "penthouse" collection from Target reminds me of.

If you ever want to pull off the icy look of a museum house you can with Targets new selection in their stores and on their site. I cannot do this as I love my child and don't want her walking into sharp objects but hey, it's up to you.

I like this piece, it speaks to me, it's pretentious and I love it.

I have a confession- I have been so busy that I have not been to Target in like 3 weeks. I can't wait to go see the new $1 spot!

  • The $2.50 spot sucks. I got all excited when I was in their the other day, thinking "wow! I can get a whole package of magnetic alphabet letters for $1!" when I looked down and saw - with horror - the shelf tag declaring that it was, in fact, $2.50.

    Let's revolt!

  • I do agree that the $2.50 stuff sucks. The best way to tell the top dogs is to fill out those surveys that you get at the check-outs. I am an employee and I use them too! Maybe one day they will start carrrying tall sizes!
