The Dollar Spot

If you’re looking for recommendations for in-store shopping, then make sure you visit The Dollar Spot in your local Target store. I hope your Target store keeps that section updated. My local store now has some good-as-you-can-get-for-a-dollar items. I’ve bought a number of animal themed notepads for my niece, fabric-covered boxes for jewelry or small miscellaneous pieces, laundry bags, stickers, valentine themed pens/notepads, and so much more! I’m sorry there are no pictures, but Target doesn’t have any of their website. Though it wouldn’t be a bad idea if they did. Normally this section is by the entrances so keep your eyes peeled.

  • That Dollar Spot is deadly. My boyfriend has to herd me away from it whenever we visit Target. You get caught up in the, "But it's only $1!" craze and end up spending $30 on stuff you have no room in your house for and no use for!

  • OH, I love the Dollar Spot. It was the best for stocking stuffers. Plus, it is on the way in when I enter the store so I can find something of entertainment value for the toddler. It usually holds her until we get to the snack section and I can get a box of fruit snacks to take over.

  • Check out all the cute valentines merchandise in the One Spot. There are cards for the guys who hate to spend a lot of money on cards and cute scrapbooking stuff too.

  • O M G, I almost died laughing when I found your website. I am totally a slave to Target and when I read that "Target addicts hide the Target bags from their husbands" I was almost crying from laughter because I totally do that! It's soooo sad and it's such a fiendish thing to do, but it's true. I too LOVE the Dollar Spot. I am a new teacher and I just bought a ton of teaching supplies, pencils, notepads, hall passes, workbooks, stickers, etc. Issac Mizrahi rocks my world!! I love all of his flirty, feminine dresses and I have to admit that my closet is full of clothes that my husband still doesn't know about. I am truly in love with Target and it's just a shame that they just put a Super Target less than one mile from my house. If nobody hears from me in awhile, it's because I probably put my family on the streets due to my cruel Target addiction...
