Paul & Joe Sweater
Department: GO
So while most of the Paul & Joe line at Target is not as exciting as I thought it would be, this sweater is a little eye catching. I haven't seen it in person. Opinions? Thoughts? Sure it looks good on the model but then again, what doesn't? Notice how they never show the models faces? I think that they don't exist. I think these are computer generated perfect bodies that make all of the Target clothes look great. However when you get in the fitting room it's an entirely different story.

I've seen that sweater in person and the green is nowhere near that sort of refreshing mint color. It's more of a throwback '80s baseball jersey green, which doesn't describe it very well. It caught my boyfriend's eye, but I thought it was a hideous color and a not very interesting sweater for $25. So far, I've been unimpressed with all of these designers, but I think it's a great idea anyway.

I haven't seen any of the Paul & Joe stuff in person yet. I went to my local Target last weekend expecting to see some but, they had nothing. I guess the line's not at every location.

I saw the sweater in person, and I agree with The Cat that the color isn't mint green. IIRC it was a darker green. The fabric felt flimsy, but I liked how it looked. It might be worth buying as a "cheap thrill" when it finally goes on clearance.

The only thing I liked was the puffy sleeved blouse that is white with black flowers (the cream colored one is toooo sheer).

They just built a new Target five minutes from my house.
I have already been there twice today.
And, darn it, looks like I forgot to by a toilet plunger.
I may have to go back...yet again.

is it just me, or do that sweater and skirt not match at all?

I've seen it in the store. It does not look good at all, and for $25 I could buy a better quality sweater on sale at the Gap.
