A little help from my friends
Department: Guest Blog
As you can see I have been very busy and haven't been posting -and a nice fan wrote in a guest blog that I decided to post! Thanks RP!!
So, I saw on the slavetotarget.com website (MONTHS ago) that a fellow shopper brought their dog to target and it rides around in the cart (!). Well, I took my recently purchased Chihuahua puppy with me to Target (hidden in my bag until I got through the doors). She never got out of my bag and loved looking around at everyone. I get to the checkout and all of the cashiers loved her, but the 'security guard', who was about a five foot tall woman informed me that no dogs were allowed because Target carries food. My reply? I've seen cruddier looking kids in here!
Yesterday my MIL and I went on a Target run (without the Chihuahua). She lives in a town where the closest Target is 30min away (gasp!). I found a super cute car coat:

BUT! Then I found an even cuter coat in the girl's section:

The leopard print ballet flats on sale this week are darling..and actually comfortable.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_8/602-6139603-1701418?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000FMXZN2 I found that they run small. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but had to get an 8 which works out well since they were out of 7 1/2's. I went back yesterday to get the brown pair..but they were already all out. I'm really considering paying for the shipping and ordering from target.com! They also have an argyle sweater that I think I need.

You've hit a nerve... sorry honey, but who do you think you are? Paris Hilton?!
I see way toooo many wannabes with their lil rat-dogs in various stores like Target, Lowes, etc. But why? Do you really need the attention? Try another accessory!
What about people who might be allergic to pet hair or dander? Oh, that's right, you are too self centered to think about others.

"cruddier looking kids" That was rude.
True.
But rude.
You said it out loud.

Uh, hello Bitches???
How about just thanking our new blogger for posting an entry at all!
I'll do the honours - thanks for the post! Appreciate the links to see what you looked into... I may have to try some of those ballet flats just to see how comfy they are, if they're "me". I'm a summer flipflop and winter Ugg/Birkie girl, but I'm willing to try new things.
As for cruddier looking sprogs - get over yourselves. It only hurts a bit cuz it's true. Give me a cute lil doggie over a screamin brat anytime.

I don't think dogs belong in stores either, unless you're blind and they're guiding you through the aisles. I also feel the same way about birds and lizards. What is with people who insist on taking them shopping with them?
