Your Weekly Target Ad

Have you looked at your area’s Target weekly ad this morning? I always manage to find something that I need to have. Of course this week I’ve discovered a number of items I would love to throw in my red cart.

Michael Graves Luggage -- For my imaginary vacations ...

Isaac Mizrahi sweater/skirt -- My local ad says 20% off all Isaac Mizrahi clothing ... check yours for details!

Modern Home Glass Swirl Lamp -- Love the design ... other selected lamp bases and shades also on sale.

Mossimo Red Pea Coat -- Always loved the look of pea coats.

Pampers/Luvs Diapers -- Not exciting, but a necessity.

Target's cleaning product brand Method -- Curious but never tried it.

Xhilaration embellished casuals -- Love the clog!

Check out your weekly Target ad for fabulous sales and bargains!

  • A word on the Method Cleaning-
The bottle shapes are awesome, the cleaning power not so much. I re-used the bottles and put my regular cleaners in them.

  • 20% off Isaac Mizrahi? That explains why it never fits me. I must need the 20% back!

  • I know what is up with Isaac and his no sense of a measuring tape? Is it because he is gay and has never grabbed hearty real-woman ass? Nothing against being gay but if you are going to design for women at least go get some hearty woman ass just once!!!

Since we have so many readers who work at Target Corp, I am volunteering my short ( 5'5") 160lb, big rack body to come out to whereever it is that you all measure women and be the muse for the spring collections.

okay- jennifer aniston is on oprah got to go watch!

  • I have the Method liquid hand soap dispensers in all my bathrooms - color coordinated - love them - and they get compliments too ;-)

  • Okay, yeah, I must now totally disagree with the poster who said they were weak... In a very respectful and yet sarcastic manner... Yeah, weak when it comes to causing cancer... I've yet to encounter a stain, spill or surface that they haven't cleaned like a gem... Plus, they smell great... And no weird, Oh my goodness I have a headache effects... 23-skiddo...

  • I can also buy Method at my grocery stores but I prefer to get it at Target with my 10% off...I love all their stuff especially the lavender-scented floor cleaner. Word of warning - the yling-ylang scented shower spray is effective but reallllly perfumey - so spray and get out of the way.

  • And ditto on the Mizrahi sizing ! Runs too small. Sadly, not made for me.

HOWEVER, I got the scoop that his suede slouch hobo bag is flying out of the stores - RedHot did you already discover that?

  • I am headed to checkout those suede hobos right now. God help me not to spend too much money today, I really don't have it just laying around you know.

  • Method bathroom cleaner (and this was two years ago, may be revamped by now) could not get the hard water deposits off of the bathroom sink. I am rural, though, so I have really hard water.

  • wow redhot- you should take that bag back. Customer service will probably give you a refund. OR you could try spraying it with a suede spray but not sure..

About the Method stuff- I just went to Target ( can you believe I only spent $68?) and got the eucalyptus and mint sink and bath cleaner and it smells amazing and works too!

Not much works on hard water stains except the mr. clean magic eraser.

  • Ooh, I never thought of using the magic eraser for hard water stains. I only use it for the walls.

  • I am addicted to Method brand. So far, Target is the only place I can find it. I have the very same laundry soap that you've pictured.

  • I absolutely LOVE Method. All of it.
